 Apps you don't use are still accessing your Facebook data if you don't disable their access or modify what level of access...

they have. Most times when you sign up for a game on Facebook or take a random quiz or try to access a website that requires a login ( and you permit login with your Facebook profile) in order to add comments, that permission to access your data by the app or website stays. They still retain that access to your data, even if you used it years ago.

Below are steps to follow to remove that access:

Go to the menu of your Facebook app;

  1. Scroll down and select "Settings."
  2. Choose "Account Settings."
  3. Select "Apps."
  4. Select "Logged in with Facebook."

This will show those apps accessing your Facebook profile.

If you select any one app, it will show you the data it accesses. Just change the data you let it access by unticking the checkmark on the right or scroll down to delete it by selecting "Remove app"

Also, your Facebook friends are giving away your data through the Apps they use which can access your data. To change this select "Apps others use." You can choose what information to give away or disable it completely by going to "Platform." Then select "No."
